Light Bulb Replacements

Replacement of bulbs in the building standard light fixtures and the common areas are the responsibility of Boston Properties. All other lamps are the responsibility of the tenant.

Many tenants request that we also inventory and replace bulbs in non-standard fixtures installed by the tenant. Upon receiving an approved estimate from the tenant, Boston Properties will purchase a stock of bulbs on behalf of the tenant at a discount and will bill the tenant for reimbursement. The bulbs will be stored on behalf of the tenant and replaced as requested via a work order request. In most cases, no labor charges will be associated with single or limited bulb changes; however, large volume changes that require significant labor may include a labor charge for the time taken to replace the bulbs. Any such labor charges will be supplied to the tenant as an estimate for approval prior to any work being performed.
